وقد تمّ إعداد الوصفات بأسلوب مبتكر وسهل التحضير بحيث يمكن ربة المنزل من صنع البسكويت والمشاركة بالاحتفال في نفس الوقت. وأما المواد المستعملة فقد روعي انتقاؤها مما يسهل الحصول عليه أو المتواجد في المنزل. وأما الأوزان والمعايير فقد اختير لهذا الغرض الفنجان والملعقة. لذا تميزت وصفات هذا الكتاب بالبساطة، وطريقة التحضير بالسهولة. وأما الصور فهي تعطي لتلك الوصفات مذاقاً لذيذاً حتى قبل تحضيرها. لأن العين تأكل قبل الفم أحياناً.
