يستشعر القارئ في بداية العنوان "أكاد من المحبّةِ أسقُطُ" أن فيضاً من المحبّةِ سينعُمر قصائد الديوان، توزعه الشاعرة يُسرى البيطار إلى كل من يدرك معنى المحبة "أهديه"... إلى... من يكتب بالدّمع مثلي" ومن يخنقه الدّمعُ وَلا يتْقِنُ التعبير... إلى... من يكتبُ بالفكر كي يثريَ الفكرَ... ومن يقبلُ الرّافدُ من اجل التطوير... إلى كلِّ امرأةٍ في الشَّرقِ تقابلُ... علَّ الحداثةَ في المظاهر تغدو حداثة في العمق... ويطولُ المَسير"...
هذه العتبة الأولية سوف تكون موجهة أولية نحو العمل الإبداعي للشاعرة، يشكل بالنسبة للقارئ تجربة عبور من خارج العمل إلى داخله، وبقراءة متأنية لقصائد الديوان، نجد أن الشاعرة تعبّر عن حالة قائمة تسكن الذات / الشاعرة وكل حرف من حروفها ألا وهي (المحبة) بمعناها الواسع تتشظى هذه الثيمة بشذراتها النصية والإيقاعية والدلالية عبر النسيج الكلي لقصائد الديوان، لتقيم الشاعرة بيطار بها، أو من خلالها خطابها الشعري بمستويات وجدانية وعاطفية، تمثل بنية هذه الحياة، وموقع الإنسان في داخلها وهي إحدى الموجهات للبنى الشعرية عند الشاعرة بيطار، للتعبير عنها مكنوناتها كشاعرة وإنسانة، ترى في المحبّة أعلى القيمات الحياتية، تقول الشاعرة "من قال إنّي اعتدْتُها النكبات والنكسات... لا... لا تسهلُ الأوجاعُ بالتكرار... بل تزدادُ إيلاماً... أكادُ من المحبةِ أسقطُ... ماذا ستُجْديني الكتابةُ... أو سَيُجزيني بقاءُ الشعر للأجيالِ... إن متُّ؟... ليتَ السعادة نلتها في عالمي من دون شعر... إنني بالحزنِ أختط الحروفَ من القصيدة... بالله... كيف سقطت من قلبٍ بحجم الريحِ نحوَ العقلِ مقهور الحدود؟... ".
يضم الكتاب قصائد نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أكادُ من المحبة أسقطُ"... "أحلام"، "أزرار"، "إعصار"، "بسمة"، "بوجهك خبئْ عُطوري"، "تعب جبينك كالمساء"، "جبين هو الفجر"، "الحب الباقي"... وعناوين أخرى.
