تحت عنوان (اغتيال) نقرأ: "على أسطح المنازل، كانوا سبعة على أقل تقدير والجسد المنهك كان يركض. الرصاصة الأولى اخترقت بطنه... ظلَ يركض، الثانية في ظهره.. يركض، الرابعة في قلبه.. يركض، القناصة أصابهم التعب، وأنا أيضاً، سأتعب.. إذا ما واصلت هكذا سرد! لذلك سأخبركم ما الذي سيحدث: المدينة ستستيقظ على سبع جثث تكدست فوق الرصيف، وعلى جسد مليئ بالثقوب.. يركض".
