وفي "الطبع يغلب"، ومنها إن القرية اللبنانية، بعاداتها الحقيقية، حية في أقاصيص "كانون وكنكنة" وليلة الميلاد"... أما أسلوب المؤلف القصصي، فجذاب وأخاذ، فهو يأسر القارئ فور مباشرته قراءة القصة، ولا يحرره حتى انتهائه منها، كل ذلك، بلغة سلسلة غنية بالوصف، لكأنك عند القراءة، أمام لوحة فنية يرسمها المؤلف بقلمه، أو لم تكن القصة المجال الأرحب، للتثقيف، وللترويح عن النفس، قبل أن تنتشر السينما، ووسائل الإعلام المرئية والمسموعة.
