هربا من فضاء العدم، وابتغاء المعلوم والوجود، ترسم الدراسة تخومها بعنوانها، لتكون علامة على كينونتها، ومؤشرا على هويتها وتغايرها، وما يجعلها وجودا متعينا.
فقد اتخذت الدراسة الهيئة التشكيلية الآتية: -مدخل عام، ينتظمُ فيه تمفصلان: نحو نظرية لعلم العنونة أولاً، وثانياً، استراتيجية منهجية للقراءة النٍّصيّة. في هذا المدخل حاولت القراءة على نحو حثيث، تقديم عرضٍ مختلفٍ لنظرية العنوان، وبالإستناد إليه، تمٍّت مقاربة حضور العنونة وغيابها في الخطاب العربي التراثي والحديث، ليكون السبيلُ مُمهٍّداً لطرحِ منهجيةٍ للقراءة النٍّصية للعنوان.
-ويأتي الباب الأول بعنوان: "العنونة في الخطاب الشِّعري، متمفصلاً إلى عتبةٍ وثلاثة فصول، وفي عتبة الباب، عالجت الدِّراسة قضايا العنونة في الخطاب الشِّعري من حافات الغياب إلى بذخ الحضور، ثم انتقلت إلى مطاردة العنونة الشِّعرية في الفصول الثلاثة: الأول: غرفة المشاعر: إنتشار العنوان، والثاني: يطير الحمام: ملهاة الحمام، مأساة الحمام، والثالث: بالشِّباك ذاتها بالثّعالب التي تقودُ الريِّح: مكائد الفجاءة والفجيعة، لترصد من خلال الفصول الثلاثة تجليات متنوعة للعنونة الشّعرية وطرائقها في التشكيل والبناء.
-وينبثقُ الباب الثاني بعنوان: "العنونة في الخطاب السّردي"، متشكّلاً من عتبةٍ وفصلين، وقد مضى اهتمام الدِّراسة - في العتبة - إلى مناقشة الحضور العتيد للعنونة في الخطاب السّردي من حيث العراقة، أما الفصلان المخصصّان للأنواع السِّردية، فقد خُصَّ الأوّل بالقصة القصيرة: "ثعلب السَّرد وظاهرة العنونة، إذ تصدّت القراءة فيه لخطاب العناوين لدى زكريا تامر، ثم إتجهت لإختبار مفهوماتها بمقاربة قصة قصيرة بعنوان "الوسواس الخناس" لعبد القادر ربيعة. واحتضن الفصل الثاني قضايا العنونة الروائية: "العنونة والرواية من التَّسمية إلى النَّصية، وكان للدراِّسة في هذا المحفل سجالٌ عميقٌ مع رواية "وليمة لأعشاب البحر" لحيدر حيدر.
-أما الباب الثالث: "العَنونة في الخطاب الدّراميّ"، فكان مسرحاً لقضايا العنونة الدّرامية، عَبْرَ عتبة تمهيدية خصَّت حضورَ العنوان في الدّراما، لتنتقل القراءة من خلال الفصلين، الأول: تحولات العنونة، والثاني: "ملحمة السَّراب أو ملحمة الخراب" إلى الإمساك بشعرية العنونة لدى سعد الله ونوس.
-وكان لا بُدِّ من خاتمةٍ للخروجِ من فضاء الكتابة عَبْرَ حصر النتائج المترتبة على حفريات القراءة واستنطاقاتها للعناوين الشِّعرية والسِّردية والدّرامية، بوصف الخاتمةِ اقتناصاً لما أثمر، وهروباً من جحيم الكتابة ذاتها.
