يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن واحد من مشايخ الموحدين الدروز في سورية وهو الشيخ أبو حسين إبراهيم الهجري، وفيه يستعرض المؤلف عبد الوهاب بشير أبو فخر سيرته العطرة وحياته الشريفة، وصفاته وتميزه بالتقوى والتعبد والتقشف وتواضعه، وعلمه وورعه، وطريقة عبادته وتهجده وعلاقته مع أصحابه وأعوانه وكافة مشايخ عصره، ومواقفه تجاه الكلام، وولاة الامور؛ وقادة الجيوش، وعلومه الروحية، وتفسيره للتعاليم الدينية، فكان بلا شك المثل الأعلى والأسوة الحسنة والقدوة الطيبة؛ في التضحية والإيثار والبر والإحسان، وبرهانٌ يضيء للموحدين المؤمنين طرقهم ومسالكهم، فهو من هؤلاء الرجال الذين قال الله تعالى عنهم في محكم تنزيله: ﴿رِجَالٌ لَا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ يَخَافُونَ يَوْماً تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ (37)﴾. [سورة النور]... صدق الله العظيم.
