"ممتاز يا بطل" طبعها اتحاد الكتاب العرب بدمشق عام 1981. ثم طلبت وزارة التربية إعادة طباعتها لصالح المدارس السورية فكانت الطبعة الثانية. وكتب عنها الناقد سمر روحي الفيصل وقت صدورها مقالاً بعنوان "ولادة مسرح الطفل" فاعتبرت مسرحية الأطفال الأولى ـ الحقيقية ـ في سورية. تنطلق المسرحية من فكرة تراثية نقية من أيام زمان. وهي فكرة "صندوق الدنيا" القديم. والكاتب أكرم شريم هو نفسه مؤلف مسلسل "أيام شامية" التراثي المعروف. والذي قد ترجم إلى عدد من اللغات الحية.
