"شباب الرياض" رواية تبدأ أحداثها في عام 1399هـ، وتستمر حتى عامنا هذا هي صرخة في وجه القبيلة، ولعنتها التي تطال فئات المجتمع، والعصبية القبلية وتلك الفروق التي تضعها هذه القبلية لتصنف طبقات المجتمع حسب أهوائها، لتمنع زواج أحدهم من فتاة أحبها وأحبته لأنه لا ينتسب إلى قبيلة، إنها تفاعلات جيل الشباب (وهم جيل الرواية) مع الأحداث السياسية التي تنفجر من حولهم وهم غير قادرين على التعبير ليحبسوا دخانها في أفئدتهم على مضض، تتحدث عن أولئك الذين تولوا مناصبهم بقدرة قادر لتراهم يقومون بالضغط على الشباب الناجح لتضييق الخناق عليه ومن ثم تصفيته حماية للمنصف، وتستعرض رواية شباب الرياض علاقة الحب المستحيل ما بين أصحاب الطبقة البرجوازية والطبقة المتوسطة من الشعب السعودي، لتأخذك إلى الواقع الإعلامي داخل المجتمع السعودي وما تقام في كواليسه من طقوس تمجد الصراع من أجل البقاء بكل الطرق وبشتى الوسائل الحلال منها والحرام وعلى الرغم كل هذه الأحداث لا تزال دعابة شباب الرياض هي الكاريزما الخاصة لهذه الرواية والتي استطاعوا بها أن يعبروا تلك المحطات المظلمة ليصلوا إلى بر الأمان.
