تحت عنوان "الوجه الأخير" نقرأ له: "وتجنح عنك أخيلتي/ وأزرع من شتات البعد/ قلبي في المسافات/ وما عطفت مساءاتي/ دخان الليل يرسم وجهك البالي/ وكوب الشاي طعم شفافك الجذلى/ وعيناك احتضاراتي/ يطوف الحب مسكيناً/ ويستجدي فتات الشوق لا يدري/ بأني من كنوز الشوق صرت اليوم قارونا/ ومفتاح الهوي بيديك سكيناً تقطعني فسكيناً(...)".
يضم الكتاب خمسة وثلاثون قصيدة تنوعت بين الشعر العمودي والشعر الحر وقصيدة النثر نذكر من عناوينها: "اختصار"، "اغتراب"، "أمينة"، "بوح"، "دوامة الضياع"، "زفرة حنين"، "علة حافة ضياع"، "لعنة"، وأوصلني المدى"... الخ.
