ورغم غشا بصره، رأت بصيرة الأعشى، وتفتحت سريرته، فأبصر ليلاً سواد صحرائه، واغتاب بناقته سراب سرابها!
ثم نفذ بشاعريته إلى أبعد ما يراه المبصرون.. نهاراً!.
