محمد عبد العزيز بن علي الشاذلي الخَوْلي : من علماء الشريعة بمصر. ولد في (الحامول) من أعمال المنوفية، وتخرج بمدرسة القضاء الشرعي بالقاهرة، وتوفي بها. له كتب، منها (مفتاح السنّة أو تاريخ فنون الحديث - ط) و (الأدب النبوي - ط) و (إصلاح الوعظ الديني - ط)

إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أدّبه العليم الحكيم، بما أنزل عليه من آيات الكتاب المبين، فكان تكوينه خير تكوين، وتثقيفه أول تثقيف، فصدرت منه آيات بينات، وحكم خالدات، وعبارات في الأدب غاية، وكان لها شأواً بعيداً، وأثراً جديداً في تربية النفوس وإصلاحها، وتقديم الأخلاق وتهذيبها.
وقد عكف المؤلف محمد عبد العزيز الخولي في هذا الكتاب على جمع أحاديث منتقاة متميزة، والتي تَمُتُّ إلى العصر الحاضر بكبير الصلة، وقد عمد إلى الأحاديث الصحيحة غير المعتلة، وتولاها بالشرح والبيان، شرحاً يجاري الحياة، ويفصل شؤونها، ويجلي غوامضها، ويحكم في أمورها، شرحاً جمع بين النهج الأدبي التربوي بأسلوب يسهل على كل قارئ فهمه وإدراك معانيه ومراميه التربوية والدينية. وقد أكثر من الأحاديث وجعل ذلك ضمن قسمين؛ أسهب في شرح أولها وأوجز في آخرها؛ إذ كان البيان السابق، واعية الإيجاز في اللاحق.
