هذا سفر استدلالي في الآيات والروايات والسيرة وفتاوى المتقدمين حول الشهادة الثالثة في الآذان وتشهد الصلاة حيث اعتنى الكتاب بالإلفات إلى كوت الروايات الواردة في ضمن فصول الأذان من قبل الصدوق هي موجودة في أصول الأصحاب المعتبرة. التنبيه على وجود روايات دالة على الاستحباب المطلق للقرآن في الأذان بين الشهادة الثالثة والأولتين وتكرارها بعدد تكرارهما.
التنبيه على أن التشهد بالثالثة باللسان وزانه وزان التشهد بالشهادتين في كونهما سبباً للدخول في حظيرة الإسلام وهي كذلك في كونها سبباً للدخول في الإيمان بمقتضى تعريفه أنه: "الاعتقاد بالجنان والإقرار باللسان والعمل بالأركان" وهو مراد المشهور في تعبيرهم –في فصول الأذان- (أنها من أحكام الإيمان بلا خلاف بمقتضى المذهب الحق) ومدلول الروايات المتواترة والمستفيضة ذلك أيضاً.
تحليل مغزى ورود الكم الغفير المستفيض من الروايات الحاكية عن اقتران الشهادات الثلاث في مواطن شريفة عديدة من مدارج الخلقة. نقل كلام المتقدمين في جواز واستحباب ذكر الشهادة الثالثة في تشهد وتسليم الصلاة وبيان الفذلكة الصناعية في ذلك وارتباطها بالأذان وأنها أي ذكر الشهادة الثالثة في التشهد من المشهور المفتى به عند المتقدمين من علمائنا، كأمثال الصدوق ووالده والمفيد والشيخ في النهاية ومصباح المتهجد وابن براج وغيرهم.
