يتسلل "نجيب خداري" في ديوانه هذا إلى الشعر حاملاً من الدار البيضاء، حكايا الإنتظار والجذل، وصولاً إلى بهجة الماء وحنين الليالي ليضعها في 28 نصاً يستلهم معظمها من هذا الرمز الغامض في تحولاته الداخلية.
حيث قام بإستعمال الرموز والدلالات العميقة التي سبق للمتصوفة أن اكتشفوها ومهد لهذه النصوص بمقتطفات بالغة الأثر اقتبسها من كتابات خلّفها عدد منهم.
وقد اندفع الشاعر بغريزة شعرية متوقدة على "رمز الباب" وإستخدمها لشحن الذاكرة بطاقة مستجدة تأتيها من الداخل والخارج في آن.
