"الصيادون الخمسة" قصة مثيرة جداً هدفها مساعدة الطفل على فهم الوقائع وتحليلها تحليلاً منطقياً، ولذلك وضعت هذه القصة في محور التحليل المنطقي في سلسلة "نادي القراء" التعليمية، التي ترمي إلى تعليم الطفل وتثقيفه ومن ثم أثر فيه عنه وذلك عبر ما تقدمه من قصص لطيفة وشخصيات مرحة. وما ترويه هذه القصة هو حكاية خمسة صيادون انطلقوا صباحاً من رحلة عبر النهر ليصطادوا السمك وبعد انتهائهم من الصيد قرر الصيادون التأكد من خمستهم موجودين فتكفل كل واحد منهم بعد أصحابه وينسى عد نفسه وهكذا ظن الصادون أن واحد منهم قد مات وهكذا تمضي أحدات القصة إلى أن تأتي فتاة صغيرة توضح لهم أين هو صاحبهم وأجرها مقابل ذلك كل ما اصطاده الصيادون من سمك.
