إن القصص القرآنية تعرف بخصائص لا مثيل لها من حيث الأسلوب، كما أنها تتميز في الوقت نفسه، بالتنويع من حيث المحتوى، وذلك لأن أحداث كل قصة قرآنية تخضع لظروف تختلف في طبيعتها عن الظروف التي تخضع لها قصة أخرى. وكتاب "القصة في القرآن الكريم" يأتي في هذا الإطار إذ يدور في محوره حول دراسة ست قصص قرآنية وهي نوح وهود وصالح ولوط وشعيب مع أقوامهم بالإضافة إلى "قصة موسى مع فرعون وبني إسرائيل". ويعتمد جوهره على الاجتهاد الشخصي للمؤلفة، ويأتي بأفكار عديدة، كما وأنه يعرض بأسلوب علمي يؤكد من خلاله إعجاز القرآن وصلاحيته لكل زمان ومكان. إن هذه الدراسة تبين بأن القرآن الكريم قد نهج أساليب مختلفة في إيصال الوحي الإلهي، والقصة المتميزة بالإعجاز من حيث القالب والمضمون. ومما يزيد من أهمية هذه الدراسة أنها تتناول موضوع "المقارنة" بين القرآن والتوراة بصدد ثلاث قصص، نوح ولوط من قوميهما، إضافة إلى قصة "موسى مع فرعون وبني إسرائيل"، مظهرة الفرق بين الموقف القرآني والتوراتي بصدد قضايا كثيرة من أبرزها مسألة الوحدانية، والقضاء والقدر، والخير والشر، والثواب والعقاب، ومبينة في الوقت ذاته الأثر النابع عن هذه الفروق في تفسير الاختلاف الجوهري المتعلق بحكاية "بني إسرائيل والأرض المقدسة"، في كل من القرآن والتوراة.
