لا يخفى على عاقل أن هذه الحياة ما هي إلا مرحلة، وأن بعدها موتاً، وأن وراء الموت قبراً وحياة برزخية، وأن وراء القبر هؤلاء عصبية وحساباً عظيماً لا ينجو منه إلا المؤمنين الصادقون، وهذا اليوم-نعني يوم القيامة-قريب جد قريب وهو يبدأ بالنفح في الصور، فيهلك من في السموات ومن في الأرض إلا من شاء الله، ثم ينفخ فيه أخرى فيبعث الجميع ويخرجون من قبورهم حفاة عراة غرلاً ويعانون من الشدائد ما الله به عليم، لذلك فمري بكل عاقل يرجو النجاة في هذه الدنيا وفي الآخرة أن يتفكر في هذه الأحوال وأن يتذكر أن النجاة إنما تنال برحمة الله ثم بصالح الأعمال، وأن الإنسان في ذلك اليوم سيندم لا محالة ولتعريف القارئ بهذه الأهوال، وبأحوال الناس في ذلك اليوم، وبالنفخ بالصور والبعث والنشور، وبحال المذكيين بالبعث والأدلة جاء هذا الكتاب الذي يضم من طياته بحثاً موسعاً يتطرق فيه المؤلف وعلى ضوء الكتاب والسنة إلى كافة المواضيع التي ترتبط بمسألة اليوم الآخر ومما يرافقه من مسائل وتغيرات ستطرأ على الكون بأسره بعد النفخ بالصور، وانبعاث الأجساد إلى تلقى الحسبان الذي سيتحدد والله أعلم يعمل الإنسان.
