غالباً، يصل الربيع على جناحي سنونوةٍ. يفتح صوتها شبابيك الزهر واللون، فتتسع المسام لنسغ ريشة أنثى لها مفاتن العطر والحبر والشعر وما يلي في الجمال.
وحين الموهبة تزاوج بين اصالتين: الرسم والشعر، توسّع الحياة لآت بالهبتين.
إن اضاف استحقهما.
بالأصالتين جاءت باسمة بطولي. ملتزمة خطاً أوجدته: حدّد لها علامات فارقة في الهوية، ولغة خاصة تفي بتفسير عالمها المحرّر من تقاليد موروثة.
ثابرت في أسلوبٍ ما سخّرته لنسخ لا رجاء منه، ولا ولادات.
اشتغلت ابتكاراً، تشكيلاً وتلويناً، مسيّرة ريشتها طوع هوى مشاعرها وأحاسيسها.
حمّلت المشهد بعض نُتفٍ من واقع، ووسّعت للخيال رحابة، يطل منها معبّراً بشفافية عن شغف بتموجات لا متناهية، مرصوفة إلى بعضها بعضاً كأنغام حساسين صيف ما عُرف لوهجٍ شمسه غياب.
الأنوثة ازهرت حين ملامسة باسمة بطولي القماشة، لتطلع من داخلٍ، بتلقائيةٍ، رياض حسنٍ هي في التنوّع استكشاف ما يُرى مباشرة، وما يُرى همس تكمل ملامح جمالاتٍ فتبعث استقراراً في النفوس.
مرات تشرد ريشتها خلسة، تلامس تصوفاً يعفّ عن فضح بوحٍ غُسلت بماء وجهه، زيادة صفاءٍ فيها آتٍ من الشعر.
أسلوبها التعبيري، ليس دائماً إبن العفوية.
رسمت "البورتريه" بتمايز، ساعية من خلالها إلى إظهار مكونات الأعماق في خطوطٍ محددة للوجه، فلا يعود يظهر الوجه جامداً متكيّفاً مع مقتضيات التأليف.
لا يحتاج قارىء لوحة باسمة بطولي إلى جهد في بحثه عن صلة بين الشعر والرسم.
بينهما علاقات مودة، تصل إلى حد الهيام، فتتوالد من ذاتها لذاتها، كأنها الحدس غير المعلن لخصائص جمالية، إليها كل عملٍ فني ينطلق في مسار صحيح بمدلولاته وخصوصيته وتراكيبه النابعة من أعماق الفنان، تصقلها ريشة متمكنة، هي بنت اثنين: الموهبة والمراس.
