"ما تخيّلني بدونك" قصائد غزلية ولدت من رحم الهوى، ولدت مع شاعر يُعرف معنى الحب، فكتبه قصيدة، إنه الشاعر مسفر الدوسري، يرتقي بشعوره مع امرأة ليشكل بعداً ذاتياً من تجربته وحكمته التي وعاها عن القصيدة، فخط ديوانه بجميل القول عن كل ما يُقال لعلاقة امرأة ورجل؛ فإذا بأنثاه غير كل النساء؛ وأحلامه غير كل الأحلام، وزمنه غير كل الأزمان، إنه زمن الحب المنتظر، حتى وإن لم يتحقق إلا في قصيدة.
في القصيدة المعنونة "شارة حب!" يقول الشاعر:
"شاللي صاير؟! / لأني فوق الأرض أمشي ../ ولاني طاير!! / أنا مدري شاللي صاير / أنا كنّي .. يوم عادي / فجأة حياه العيد .. وحوّل .. / صمته الداكن .. أغاني / ونبضه الساكن .. أماني/ وامتلى قلب الثواني / بالحمام / وبالبشاير!/ ولا أدري .. شاللي صاير!!!/ حبيتي في موكب لفه/ وارفه .. خضرا.. غنية ../ وأنا قلبي ../ كان بُور / داهمتني حروقك العذبة الشهية/ بسِرْب نور/ صار عمري/ ممتلي .. شعر وشعور (...)".
هكذا يرتبط الصوت بالنوستالجيا لدى شاعرنا، ليحيل إلى فلسفة مثالية، تفيد المعنى، وترفد المخيلة بأدوات يصبح الوجود فيها كينونة متوقدة بالحب، لقد اختصر الدوسري مسافات الحياة بحرفين "ح" و "ب" ...
يضم الكتاب أربعون قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "وضوء!" ، "بشارة حب!" ، "سرّ صغير!" ، "تشبهين الصبح" ، "صوتي ذابل!" ، "البارحة اشتقت لك!" ، "صباح أخضر!" ، "اللي حبك .. قبل احبك!" ، "عس ما سر" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
