إن أكثر ما يشغل النص الشعري عند "أزهار أبو الفرج" جمال الحياة نفسها، لا بلّ جمال التصالح، والوئام، والسلام، (هي دُنيا) هكذا عنونت الشاعرة تجربتها الاولى، وسعت إلى توظيفها توظيفاً فنياً، ينطلق من وعي تجربة الحياة وذاتها لتطوف بها في آفاق دلالية أرحب نحو الآخر الإنسان بكل ما تحمله من مشاعر إنسانية غنية وذات معنى.
تحت عنوان "مشاعر تقف في المنتصف" تقول الشاعرة: "بداخلنا مشاعر لا تترجم... لا نعرف كيف نصوغها... لا نعرف كيف نرتب تلك الفوضى... من... حب... ألم... ود.. لوم... عطاء... خيبة... مشاعر مختلفة تكون موجهة إلى شخص... واحد!... (لا تجعلونا نحتار في حبكم).
إن حديث الشاعرة عن هذه المشاعر الإنسانية تنطوي على بعدين جوهريين، تتفرع منهما أبعاد أخرى في النص، البعد الأول: هو كينونة الذات... الشاعرة، ورغبتها بالحياة، وحبها لمتعها، ورغبتها بالإستمرار بين أحبائها... والبعد الثاني: يتولد من شعورها بهروب الأشياء الجميلة وإختفائها وحركة التغير في كل ما يجري حولها، في الأشخاص، والأحداث وكل العوامل التي تحوّل معنى الحياة إلا لا شيء "أصبحنا نخشى ونتدارك المستقبل خوفاً من تغيير من هم حولنا... فقد يكونون معنا اليوم وغداً علينا... هل يجب علينا الحرص من المحيط الذي هم حولنا؟... نمشي مقيدين خوفاً من وقوع في خيبات... أحد أولئك البشر".
