هذا كتاب يهدف لتسليط الضوء على منطقة الخليج العربي أرضه، سكانه، اقتصادياته... وهو يتناول في فصله الأول بحث التسمية والموقع الجغرافي، وخصص الفصل الثاني لدراسة الأطماع الأجنبية التي تعرضت لها منطقة الخليج العربي، أما الفصل ا لثالث فقد أكد على بحث المظاهر الطبيعية للمنطقة من جيمور فولوجية وتضاريس ومناخ. أما الموارد المائية ونظراً لأهميتها في المنطقة الصحراوية فقد خصص لها الفصل الرابع، أما الفصل الخامس فقد غطى دراسة سكان منطقة الخليج العربي، وكان لا بد من بحث المقومات الاقتصادية في المنطقة في الفصل السادس، أما الفصل الأخير في الكتاب فكان نصيبه جيولولتيكية المنطقة سواء أنظمة الحكم وكفاءة المؤسسات أو أشكال الحدود السياسية بين الدول أو الطماع الإيرانية أو نشأة مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
