إن الشذوذ الجنسي أو بمعنى آخر أمراض التناسل النفسية تكاد تقتصر على اعتلال العاطفة الجنسية، وهي غالباً ما تنشأ عن التعشق الخيالي، لدى كل من الجنسين. يتناول المؤلف هذا الموضوع بالبحث والدراسة حيث يقف على تقصي حالات الشذوذ الجنسي على ضوء العوامل النفسية المرضية والوراثية والظروف المحيطة المساعدة التي تكون عاملاً لا يستهان به في نشاط هؤلاء الأشخاص الذين يعانون من هذه الأمراض. يستعرض هذه الأمراض ابتداء من الأمراض التناسلية المنعكسة من مثل العنة والشهوة الوهية والبرود التناسلي وشدة الإحساس التناسلي والاستمناء، وشذوذ العاطفة الجنسية والماسوشية والصادية وعشق الجنس في الرجال وعشق الجنس في النساء واللواطة، إلى غير ما هنالك من حالات من الشذوذ يحللها ويوضحها على ضوء نماذج عالجها أو واجهته، ليقدم آرءه الذي يتبناها كوسيلة لمعالجة هذه الأمراض التي تفتك بالمجتمع وبالأفراد على حد سواء.
