"المرأة التي أحب" رواية، كتبت بلغة شعرية، بطلها رجل مؤمن بأن الحياة سنة، وهو يحب المرأة ويقدسها ويدافع عن ظلامتها في الكثير من الأمور، لكنه رجل بلا طموح، لم يتخذ عن ظلمتها في الكثير من الأمور، لكنه رجل بلا طموح، لم يتخذ لنفسه هدفاً ولم يرسم أحلاماً. أما البطلة فهي مثال رائع لامرأة مستبدة حزينة. وهي سيدة الأضداد وفيها كل جبروت الاستبداد، وضعف الحزن. ولكل النساء كانت تكذب بمنتهى الصدق، وتقول "لا" تقصد بها "نعم"، وتقول "نعم" تقصد بها "لا" إنها رواية تعبر عن الثنائية التي تطغى على العالم، فكل شيء في الكون ذكر وأنثى، البحر ذكر واليابسة أنثى، القمر ذكر والشمس أنثى، الغصن ذكر والوردة أنثى.
