لا ينفك الإقتصاد في الإسلام في نظامه عن سائر الأنظمة الإسلامية الأخرى كالنظام الإجتماعي ونظام الحكم ونظام العقوبات وغيرها، وهذا ما حرص الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم على بيانه في أحاديثه التي جاءت بمثابة وصايا للتجار التي تم تخصيص هذا الكتاب لها والتي جاءت منتقاة ومنتخبة من وصايا كثيرة تمم فيها مراعاة حدود الإجمال ومواطن الإستيعاب، في تفصيلات شرحها جامع هذه الوصايا من الكتاب والسنّة النبوية المطهرة، وهو لم يدّخر جهداً في الشرح، باذلاً من محاولات لإستيعاب كثير من تفصيلات الأحكام، ودقائق ما يحتاج إليه القارئ عموماً، والتاجر على وجه الخصوص.
هذا وقد سارت لغة الكتاب في إتجاهين: أحدهما إتجاه لغوي من ناحية إستعمال المألوف من اللغة البسيطة الشارحة ما كان له إلى ذلك سبيل، والآخر إتجاه فقهي من خلال إستعمال المصطلحات التي استعملها بعض الفقهاء في مواضع عديدة ليست بالكثيرة، وذلك لتعويد من يقرأ على بعض المصطلحات الشرعية الخاصة في هذا الباب أو ذاك من أبواب الفقه، وقد تم في كلا الحالين شرح ما هو غامض وبحاجة إلى شرح لغوياً كان ذاك الغموض أم فقهياً من حيث معنى المصطلح.
وإلى هذا فقد تم الوقوف في هذا الكتاب على دراسة نظام الإسلام من الجانب الإقتصادي، وهذا ما يظهر للقارئ خلال الشروحات حول الوصايا مع بيان أن الإسلام عيّن أسباب تملك المال، وكيفية تنميته، ثم إيضاح كيفية توزيع الثروة بين الناس، والوقوف عند عقود البيع والإجارة مطولاً، ثم إجمال الحديث عن المقصود.
وقد تمت إضافة بحثين لتوضيح كيفية فهم القارئ للمناهي الواردة في نصوص الأحاديث النبوية، وما الذي يجعل العقد باطلاً أو فاسداً إذا ما خرق المسلم تلك المناهي، هذا بالإضافة إلى العقود الأخرى المهمة اللازمة في الحياة كالشراكة التي قلّ أن يعلم الناس عنها شيئاً نافعاً ذا جدوى.
وسيلمس القارئ كثيراً من الأمور الهامة مما هو على تماسٍّ بحياته اليومية في هذا الجانب أو ذاك من نظام المعاملات الإقتصادية في الإسلام.
