وللوهلة الأولى... تجد نفسك مهيأ لقبول إملاءات بوصلة التموقع في متن خرائط الوجع وتضاريس الخوف الرهيب الموغل بشدة في المكان الروائي منذ العنوان وجع جنوبي... وأنت ممعن في القراءة بين أرصفة منافي الشمال والقبريات المؤجلة في الجنوب، تبدأ أحاسيسك في التفاعل مع خرائط النص وتتهاوى تباعاً تفاصيل وحشة المكان المكتوف وتكف دوائر الصمت داخلك عن الصمت الموجع وتغادر حنجرتك كالكلمات تمتمات خافتة تلو التمتمات.
هنا، يتوغل بك النص الروائي في الإشارات المغتالة تلو الإشارات والآهات المكتومة لك على مهل تتنادى فيضاً من كلام لم يكتب تتلقفه عيناك في عواصف وجع ليس كالوجع المألوف، وتقلك رياح المعنى إلى كل الأزمنة البئيسة المترسبة كمرفأ رمل قديم في غور ذاكرة المكان السليب المعلب برفات الشهداء والبارود، ويبقى الكلام المحاصر حبيس الكلام المتاح.
