مؤلف كتاب «أنس المسجون وراحة المحزون»، كان حيا سنة 625
لا تعرف له ترجمة، لكنه قال في كتابه (أنس المحزون): «حدّثني الشيخ الصالح أوحد الدين الكرماني»
وأوحد الدين الكرماني هذا ممن يقول بوحدة الوجود وله صداقات مع (ابن عربي) بل ذكره ابن عربي في فتوحاته وأخذ عنه
وقد ذكر المؤلف- أيضا - في نفس الكتاب خبرا عن ابن سينا: أنه أمر عند وفاته أن يغنوا عنده بأبيات آخرها:
وبقيت لا شيئا أشاهده … إلاّ أقول بأنّه ربّي
وقد مر المؤلف على هذا الخبر مرورا عابرا بل محتفيا به

لم يكن المدح وليد مرحلة ما بعد النبوة بل كان امتداداً للعهد الجاهلي غلا أنه-في هذه المرحلة الجديدة-خرج من عباءة التكسب إلى عالم الرسالة، ومن ذلّ الطمع وطلب النوال إلى التجرد، فأصبح فيضاً بعد أن كان صنعة. وسار شعراء الإسلام الأوائل في هذا الركب منه حسان بن ثابت في دفاعه عن الإسلام وبنيه وإقرار النبي له بذلك في قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم "أهجهم وروح القدس معك" ثم جاءت لامية كعب بن زهير لتسجل مفارقة في مدح النبي في الشكل والمضمون، ثم ميميمة البوصيري التي اعتبرت من عيون الشعر العربي إلى أن كتب صفي الدين الحلي ميميته التي سماها الكافية البديعة حيث ضمنها إضافة إلى المدح "علم البديع" بداية بحسن المطلع وانتهاءً ببراعة الختام، مشتملة بذلك على واحد وخمسين ومائة نوعاً بديعياً. هذا ما جعلها مدار دراسة واعتناء الأدباء وعلماء اللغة والباحثين في مجال البلاغة.
وجاء شرحها هذا فأضاف إلى أهميتها العلمية الخام مادة إضافية من الشرح والتبيان، فتأسس بذلك كتاب علمي جليل القدر جاء رسالة روحية وبراعة علمية.
