يلاحظ في آيات القرآن الكريم أن جملة منها جاءت لتعالج سلوكيات تخصّ الفرد، وجملة أخرى جاءت لمعالجة سلوكيات تتعلق بالمجتمع ككلّ، وذلك يفهم من خطاب القرآن الكريم. فتارة يكون الخطاب موجّهاً للفرد وأخرى تراه موجّهاً للمجتمع، في هذا الإطار جاء البحث الذي ضمّه هذا الكتاب الذي قسمه المؤلف إلى قسمين.
تحدث في القسم الأول عن مفاهيم القرآن في السلوك الفردي، وتحدث في القسم الثاني عن مفاهيم القرآن في السلوك الاجتماعي. وقد تناول كل قسم مجموعة من آيات القرآن المجيد واستخرج منها مفاهيم معتمداً على ما جاء في التفاسير، قرنها بما جاء عن أهل بيت العصمة صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين.
وغرض المؤلف من وراء بحثه هذا عدة أمور منها: بيان بعض مفاهيم القرآن المتعلقة بالسلوك الفردي والاجتماعي، 1-المفاهيم النيرة-للمؤمن، 2-الدعوة الجادة للتمسك بالقرآن والرجوع إليه من أجل استلهام التعاليم الواضحة وتطبيقها في الأسرة المسلمة وعلى مسرح الحياة الاجتماعية، 3-إلقاء شيء من المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتق المسلم المتصدي لتعلم مفاهيم القرآن وتعليمه ونشره.
