محمد سبيلا كاتب وفيلسوف مغربي.
نشأته ودراسته
كان ميلاده سنة 1942م بالعاصمة الاقتصادية للمغرب الدار البيضاء، تابع دراسته بكل من جامعة محمد الخامس/كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط وجامعة السوربون بباريس، فحصل سنة 1967م على الإجازة في الفلسفة وفي نفس السنة التحق محمد سبيلا باتحاد كتاب المغرب، وفي سنة 1974م حصل على دبلوم الدراسات العليا، ونال دكتوراه الدولة سنة 1992م بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط.
عمله
اشتغل أستاذاً جامعياً بكلية الآداب بالرباط، وشغل منصب رئيس شعبة الفلسفة وعلم الاجتماع وعلم النفس بكلية الآداب بفاس ما بين 1972م و1980م، وترأس الجمعية الفلسفية المغربية ما بين 1994م و2006م.

شهدت مقولة حقوق الإنسان في العقود الأخيرة، توظيفها وإستثمار إيدويولوجيا واسعاً، لكن لم يلغ المصداقية الذاتية لهذه المقولة الإنسانية، بل إنه على الرغم من كل أشكال الإستثمار والتوظيف فإنها لم تزدد إلا رسوخاً في الفكر السياسي المعاصر.
يضرب مفهوم حقوق الإنسان، بجذوره البعيدة في الفكر القديم وفي فكر العصور الوسطى لدى مختلف الديانات والمذاهب التي شهدت تبلور إتجاهات فكرية ذات منزع إنساني، إلا أن النشأة الحقيقية لمفهوم حقوق الإنسان يرتبط بالتحولات التاريخية والفكرية التي حدثت في أوروبا منذ عصور النهضة، والتي بلغت ذروتها في القرن الثامن عشر في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان والمواطن الذي أعلنته الثورة الفرنسية سنة 1789.
إلا أن تبلور حقوق الإنسان في مواثيق، ثم في معاهدات مؤسسية ترعاها المنظمات الدولية قد هيأت له لا فقط هذه الأحداث والثورات التاريخية الكبرى التي حدثت في أوروبا وأمريكا إبتداء من أوائل القرن الثامن عشر، بل أسست له كذلك مدارس وإتجاهات فلسفية وحقوقية عديدة.
والمهمة الأساسية لهذا الكراس هو تعريف الباحث والطالب والقارئ على هذا المخاض الفلسفي الذي نشأت فيه حقوق الإنسان كحقوق متميزة ومعترف بها، وبوجود أساس متين لها.
