جواهر الكلام في شرح شرائع الإسلام أو جواهر الكلام، مصنَّف استدلالي ضخم في الفقه الشيعي الإمامي، قام بتأليفه محمد حسن النجفي في شرحه لكتاب شرائع الإسلام للمحقق الحلي.
يتميّز الكتاب بتقديم موسّع للأبحاث الفقهية، وعرض وافٍ ومُسهَب لمختلف آراء الفقهاء الماضين بما قد يُغني الباحث من مراجعة غيره من الكتب والمصادر، ليزوِّده بالأبحاث والتدقيقات التي لا مناص لها في عملية الاستنباط.
ذاع صيت الكتاب بحيث غلب عنوانه على اسم مؤلفه، فبات يُعرَف شخصيته بصاحب الجواهر، كما صار اصطلاح الفقه الجواهري بين كبار الفقهاء عنواناً سائداً للتعبير عن النمط الذي يفرضه متطلبات الاجتهاد الحقيقي في عصر النهضة الإسلامية، حيث كان عليهم ملئ الفراغ الذي أحدثه الفكر الأخباري في الجمود على واقع انقضى أمده ليُعطِّل من وجهة نظرهم کثيراً من الأحكام السياسية والاجتماعية للدين.
لم ينوِ المؤلِّف في بدء أمره القيام بشرح كتاب الشرائع بناءاً على ما نُقِل عنه، بل كان يقصد تنظيم ملاحظاته ومراجعاته حول مختلف المباحث الفقهية للاستفادة الشخصية.[5] وقد بيّن صاحب الجواهر في مقدمة كتابه أن الدواعي من انتخاب كتاب الشرائع لشرحه كانت هي خصوصيات الكتاب في الإحاطة والبيان والإتقان ورجوع المتأخرين إليه، وأن الهدف من شرحه إنما كان إخراج فوائد الكتاب وإيضاح دقائقه ورفع الإجمال وبيان أخطاء الشرّاح والإتيان على الأقوال ومستنداتها بأوجز العبارات.
