يتحدث الكتاب عن سيرة النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام, فهو للصغار والكبار, بعبارة سهلة وأسلوب جذاب, فهو يحتوي على القدوة المثلى لحياة الآخرين, كما فيه من سماه الله سراجاً منيراً, ويضم شهادات الأعداء بعظمته ونبوته عليه الصلاة والسلام, يحتاج إليه كل أب, وكل مرب, وكل طفل يريد أن يعرف نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي أرسله الله تعالى رحمة للعالمين. فقد قال الله تعالى:( هو الذي بعث في الأميين رسولاً منهم يتلو عليهم آياته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة وإن كانوا من قبل لفي ضلال مبين وآخرين منهم لما يلحقوا بهم وهو العزيز الحكيم). ومن هنا فإن حياة رسول الله خير حياة, وإن سيرته خير سيرة, وشجرته خير شجرة, نبتت في حرم, وبسقت في كرم, هو الأمي الذي علم الجاهلين, واليتيم الذي بعث الأمل في قلوب اليائسين, والهادي الذي قاد سفينة العالم الحائرة في خضم المحيط, ومعترك الأمواج الى شاطىء أمان الله رب العالمين.
