إن علم الكتابة مفتاح العلوم وباكورتها، والكتابة وعاء اللغة وخزانتها، فقد حفظت ما دونه الأولون في ميادين المعرفة، ليواصل المتأخرون إتمام صروحها الشامخة. وبين يدي القارئ: (تاريخ الكتابة وتطورها وأصول الإملاء). في جزءه الثاني يتناول القواعد الإملائية الحديثة وشواردها، كما أجمع عليها المحدثون، ويشير في الحواشي إلى ما شاع رسمه وتجاوزها، ودعت العلاقة بين رسم بعض الكلمات وبين النحو والصرف إلى التطرق إليها، وتناول أيضاً منظومات الأفعال المعتلة الآخر لأنها أثر إملائي وتم إلحاقها بمعجم هجائي لرسم جميع الأفعال الثلاثية المعتلة الآخر مع مضارعاتها ومصادرها وأبرز معانيها وكذلك الأسماء الثلاثية كما أجمعت على رسمها المعاجم أو معظمها، وهذا يغني الكاتب عن الرجوع إلى المعاجم. ويتناول الجزء الثاني: الحروف العربية، التاء المبسوطة والتاء المربوطة، ألف الياء وألف المد المنتصبة، الهمزة ورسمها، بين اللفظ والكتابة عوامل الموسيقا اللفظية في اللغة العربية، المد والإدغام والإقلاب والإبدال، الحذف، الحروف الشمسية والحروف القمرية، الوصل والفصل، تقعيد الشوارد وتلخيص القواعد,منظومات الأفعال الثلاثية المعتلة الآخر، المعجم الإملائي.
