يبدأ الفصل الأول بالوقوف على ماهية التربية، على حين يتجه الفصل الثاني نحو إستعراض الأصول التي تكون التربية لبيان مواقع الأصول الفلسفية للتربية، والفصل الثالث تناول الفلسفة والتربية من خلال الوقوف على معنى فلسفة ومواضيعها التي تتناولها، وتتوصل الرحلة في الفصل الرابع لتأخذ المعالجة مناحي متشعبة أكثر دقة وتصويباً لتجميع خيوط المعالم الرئيسة لفلسفة التربية.
حيث يتناول الفصل الأخير (أي الخامس) فلسفة المجتمع اليمني أساساً لفلسفة تربيته، ثم إستعراض مصادر فلسفة التربية في المجتمع اليمني، أساسها ومبادئها.
