في "هذا اللاشيء"! سؤال المصير ومغزى الحياة، هي مجموع قصائد ضمنها ديوان الشاعر "ابراهيم الأفندي" بلغت ستة عشرة قصيدة في الشعر الحداثي. جمع ما بين طياته جميع ما اشتملت عليه مكونات هذا النوع من الشعر - الحداثي - من ألفاظ وصور وخيال وموسيقى، ارتكز فيه على مقاربة فلسفية - تفكيكية، استخدم فيها ببراعة الكلمات والحروف والأفعال ليترك لقارئه متعة اكتشاف النص من خلال الذات وهذه ميزة المبدعين في قصيدة بعنوان (أهـ) يقول: "ويا كلمات../ ويا أفعال../ ويا أسماء/ يا حرف الألف،/ وحرف الباء،/ ويا حرف الياء.. / يا أقصى من لغتي../ أقرب من فعل الإنشاء/ يا الواحد في الصحراء../ ويا الصحراء/ يا سلسلة الدم في عرقي../ كالماء (....) وسأستيقظ عند الكلمات كحرف العِلّة../ لا تذكر درب البدء../ ولا خوف الإنهاء (...)".
