نحن بحاجة إلى فهم عام لظاهرة اللغة غير قائم بالضرورة على دراسة كل اللغات، بل على دراسة الظاهرة نفسها من جوانب مختلفة. وفي الوقت نفسه، ولكي لا يقوم هذا الفهم بمعزل عن الممارسة اللغوية، يمكننا أن نستخدم لغة واحدة أو بضع لغات، كمصدر للأمثلة والشواهد.
إن منهج هذا البحث هو القيام برحلة استكشاف في ظاهرة اللغة بشكل عام، والعودة إلى اللغة العربية كأساس للبحث وكساحة تطبيق لمفاهيم البحث -أي إننا لا ننطلق من العربية إلى تعميم المفاهيم، بل بالعكس. ورحلة الاستكشاف هذه تطل على موضوعات عديدة لها علاقة باللغة وبالبحث فيها: الفلسفة ومختلف مفاهيمها، وخاصة في مجال فلسفة اللغة، المعنى، التطور، الوعي، الإدراك، الإبداع، التقابل، التضاد والنفي، إلخ، النشوء والارتقاء وتأثيرات البيئة الطبيعية، وكذلك تاريخ المجتمع الإنساني.
غاية رحلة الاستكشاف هذه هي معرفة المزيد عن قدرة هذه الملكة على التعبير عن علاقة الإنسان بالكون وفهمه إياه والتدليل مجدداً على شمولية اللغة باعتبارها جزءً من طبيعة الخلق والتكوين. وتنتهي هذه الرحلة عند ما يمكن أن تدلنا عليه التقابلات في اللغة في فهم علاقة هذه اللغة بالوعي والإدراك الإنسانيين.
حاول المؤلف في هذا الكتاب إعطاء لمجزرة حصارة وادي الرافدين بعداً تاريخياً حضارياً عندما كان العراقيون يحكمون المنطقة ويرفدون الشرق الأوسط بالمعارف والاختراعات ويفرضون ثقافتهم، مما أبقى ضغينة في نفوس اليهود على العراق وأهله بعد عدة حروب انتصر العراقيون فيها، مما ترجموه مؤخراً بمحاولة ذبح الهوية والحضارة العراقية.
