وهي دراسة تاريخية وسكانية وحضارية وسياسية واجتماعية وليست فقهية يمكن أن نختلف فيها، وإن كنا نؤمن بأن تعدد المدارس الفقهية هو علامة صحة في الأمة.
مع اعتقادنا أن حالات التعصب المذهبي، والتخندق الطائفي، والتزمت الديني، والعزل السياسي، والاضطهاد الأثني، حالات مرفوضة تماماً، لذا تركز بحثنا في كيفية خلق علاقات متوازنة، لعراق أفضل، ليس من أجل الشيعة فحسب، بل من أجل العراق كل العراق بك لمكوناته الأثنية والدينية والمذهبية.
وإن هذه الدراسة هي بمثابة نقد وتبصير لكل من يهمه الأمر لكي يدرك حقيقة أن الشيعة هم المكون الأساسي الأول للعراق وهم ليسوا (عنصراً دخيلاً) لا صلة لهم به، فالحديث عن العراق، يعني الحديث عن الشيعة، والعكس صحيح أيضاً، فأدوار الشيعة الريادية، في (قيام) و(بناء) الدولة العراقية الحديثة، كانت مسيرة تضحيات خضبت بالدم، وجباه نضحت بالعرق، ومآقي حرقت بالدموع.
وختاماً هي دراسة هامة لتقويم نهج من يحاول تهميش الشيعة في الخليج والجزيرة العربية، وتبصير من يصفهم بالعجمة والأجنبية، وتنوير من يتهمهم بالكفر والمغالاة.
