غطى هذا الكتاب جانبين نادراً ما يجتمعان في كتاب غيره، وهي الجانب النظري والعملي في الرسم على الحاسوب، حيث تضمن بعض الخوارزميات والمخططات الانسيابية عند الضرورة، وتضمن كذلك برامج كاملة ليساعد المبتدئين بهذا المجال وممن يمتلكون خبرة قليلة بلغة باسكال ولغة C++، إضافة لبعض مقاطع من البرامج لزيادة التوضيح، كما احتوى الكتاب على مقدمة للرسم على الحاسب وطريقة رسم الأشكال ثنائية الأبعاد واستخدام الألوان والتشكيلات، وأفرد أيضاً فصلاً للتمويلات على الأشكال الهندسية ذات البعدين، معرجاً بعدها للحديث عن كتاب النصوص في نمط الرسم والعمل مع الصور مقدماً بعض التطبيقات المفيدة في هذا المجال لينتهي بعدها للحديث عن الأشكال ثلاثية الأبعاد.
