تحت عنوان «وهم» نقرأ: "أوهامنا.. بارك الربُّ أوهامنا.. نبيع أفكارنا المنيرة.. بـِ "قرصٍ مستديرة".. نهرب من الجوع.. والجوع جزءٌ منّا.. لا ينفك عنّا.. للتوِّ أدركت أنني مهما ركضتُ،.. لن أغادر الحظيرة!...".
- قدّمت الكاتبة لعملها بـ "مقدمة" تقول فيها: "نحن كـ ككتاب.. شخصيات أيّ قصة هي جزء لا يتجزأ منا.. نحنُ نقتطعُ من أرواحنا لأدوارهم.. هواجسنا.. مخاوفنا.. تردّدنا بين الشيئين.. كلُّ حرف هو جزء من شخصيتي وذاكرتي.. لكن، الحرف وحده منفرداً ليس أنا! عائلتي، أصدقائي، معارفي.. قد تعشق الشخص لكنّك تنصدم بالقلم.. قرّائي.. قد تعشق القلم لكنّك تنصدم بالشخص.. لذا تذكروا: "اقرؤوا ما أكتب.. لا تقرؤوني فيما أكتب".
