مطر لا يشبه مطر آخر! لرام الله مطرها، بروقها ورعودها. وها أنت الآن تتسلق خيوط المطر المندفعة إلى الأرض. تصنع منها طريق معراجك إلى السماء. وهناك، ترى رعد رام الله جميلاً كما ترويه عجائزها الراحلات والمقيمات. فما الرعد في سماء المدينة إلا صدى مقدساً لوقع حوافر فرسين مجنحين لها لون الحليب ورائحة البخور، يمتطيهما "إبراهيم الخليل" و"مارجرجس" ويطاردان على صهوتيهما في فلوات السماء. سماء رام الله وحدها، ودون غيرها من سموات الله التي خلقها سبعاً طباقاً.
لا تسألوا أهل المدينة كيف نسجوا حكاية رعدهم، اسألوا الخالق الذي اختار هذه السماء، دون سواها، لمثل هذا المطر، وهيأها مدة مفتوحاً للريح وسنابك جياد تسبق الريح.. وتحمل على ظهورها أجساداً أثيرية منذورة للقداسة والنبوءات...
أرض خلقت لمثل هذه المساء.. سماء خلقت لتعدو فيها جياد الأنبياء..
تكاد تتماثل للشفاء من الحنين، تتخفف من نزف الأشواق، لكنه المطر يعيدك إلى كل ما كان فيك، وينفث في الروح شوقاً أزلياً للمكان، لا يستكين ولا يسكن باللقاء، وحنيناً لا شفاء منه لرام الله، مكاناً وزماناً!
