في هذا النص الروائي، ثمة هجس مطلق بالجسد وشؤونه، وهذا الهجس يتجلى عبر تأمل الذال للآخر وإغراقها فيه وإنخطافها بحضوره.
وعلى مدار النص تتحرك الشخصية الرئيسة متبوعة بـ (رأس) يقفز في اللحظات المناسبة ليؤدي دور الضمير أو دور الملقن أو دور المتفرج السلبي الذي لا دور له.
هكذا يحضر الجسد هذا الحضور الطاغي كأنه بلا رأس، ويحضر الرأس كأنه بلا جسد، إن فصل الرأس عن الجسد هو القضية الجوهرية التي ينبني عليها النص، بكل ما تحمله تلك القضية من أبعاد وظلالات. وما دامت حركة الجسد معزولة عن حركة الرأس، فإن كلاً منهما سينتج سياقاً كاملاً من التخبط والخواء واللامعنى.
ثمة امرأة تأتي لأول مرة، تفتح باب البيت وتدخل، ليس لديها طلب سوى جسد أي رجل. امرأة جاهزة ومفاجئة، ورجل بالطبع جاهز دائماً لكن كل هذا يتم بعيداً عن أية قضية لأن جسد كل من الرجل والمرأة بلا رأس, إنهما يستجيبان للفوضى وندائها ولا يحاولون التذرع بالبحث عن الحرية مثلاً أو الانتقام مما يهدم الإنسان بصفته قيمة، إنهما، على العكس من ذلك، يبحثان معاً عما يهدم تلك القيمة ويحيلها إلى غبار.
فصل الرأس عن الجسد فصل الوعي عن اللاوعي، فصل القيمة عن الكيان، وكأن ثمة كائناً يتعرض لحالة إعدام، هذا ما يحاول النص إضاءته وحشد الأحداث والهلاوس والتأملات لتكشيفه والمرافعة عنه.
