الإملاء من الموضوعات المهمة في اللغة العربية لما للكتابة الصحيحة من أثر في إيصال المعنى الصحيح المراد التعبير عنه. في هذا الإطار يأتي الكتاب الذي بين يدينا حيث يسعى لشرح القاعدات الإملائية المهمة بصورة مبسطة مع الاعتماد على الأمثلة الكثيرة، وذلك كي تنطبع صورة الكلمة في ذهن القارئ فيستطيع كتابتها بشكلها الصحيح أينما وجدت.
كما واهتم الكتاب بإرفاق بعض القاعدات بجداول مفصلة، مثل همزة الوصل وهمزة القطع والهمزة المتوسطة، وبالاعتماد على هذه الجداول يستطيع القارئ الرجوع إلى أية كلمة يرديها ويستخرج كتابتها الصحيحة.. طبعاً هذه الجداول تضم عدداً كبيراً من الكلمات وليس كل مفردات اللغة العربية التي لا يتسع لها كلها المجال هنا. أما أكبر الجداول فهو جدول همزة الوصل، وذلك لأنه تضمن ذكراً للكلمة ثم المصدر ثم الأمر والماضي المجهول.
هذا الكتاب هو طريقة مبسطة لتعلم الإملاء العربي، حيث نقصد به أن نقدم المعلومات السهلة متعمدين على أمثلة وشواهد تساعد على إبقاء المعلومات في ذهن القارئ وتعمق الوعي الذاتي بها، وتجعلها ضابطاً من الضوابط الذاتية في الكتابة والتعبير.
