ما الذي يدفع الشاعر نحو جمع دواوينه الشعرية في مجلد واحد، أو عدد من المجلدات، بعدما يزيد على ثلاثين عاماً من صدور ديوانه الأول، مشروعية طرح مثل هذا السؤال البسيطن لا تفضي بالضرورة إلى مشروعية إجابةٍ واحدة وواضحة، ناجزة ومحكمة.
في جديده "الأعمال الشعرية" يضع الشاعر الفلسطيني "منذر عامر" بصمته الشعرية على مئات القصائد التي كتبها في أوقات مختلفة وبمناسبات عديدة، وقد دونها وزوقها ليهدي إلى قارئه كتاباً أنيقاً في معناه ومبناه، دقيق في ألفاظه، صحيح في لغته، وموسيقاه الشعرية المقيمة بين السطور.
يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة للمؤلف جاءت تحت عنوان "بحثاً عن وميض لا مرئي في الحنين المغيّب في متاهات الأسئلة" وفيها يتحدث عن تجربته الشعرية ورأيه بالشعر والشعراء وتتضمن مقتطفات من أحاديث سابقة أجريت مع المؤلف في أكثر من مناسبة.
يتبعه ذلك عرضاً لمحتويات الدواوين السبعة للشاعر عامر وتتراوح موضوعاتها بين الفلسفي والوجوي والأشعار الوطنية، وكتابة عن المرأة وعن الحياة عموماً. والدواوين هي: 1-مديح لامرأة رمادية (2007)، 2-أقل من براءة... أكثر من غواية (2003)، 3-فوضى الليلك (1994)، 4-سلوى... سلوى (1992)، 5-زمن انهيارات المدائن، 6-ذاهب إلى ملكوت النهر (1984)، 7-أعترف بأني الشاهد والمطعون (1981).
من الكتاب وتحت عنوان "السراب المرّ" نقرأ للشاعر: "قالوا له/لوعة الروح هباء/قال هباءٌ للصارخين/قالوا له/الريح ضوضاءٌ لمن عاشر السكونْ/قال ومن سكن الزوبعة/قالوا له/باطن الإثم يمحو ظاهره/قال وظاهر الخير يرسم باطنه/قالوا له/ما ترى ليس الذي تراهُ/قال ما أراه هو ما أُحبُّ أن أراهُ/وأرداهُمُ بالسراب المرِّ/ثم اختفى".
