إن ما يحدث في عصرنا هذا من تغيرات متسارعة في كافة المجالات، يمثل نقطة تحو نحو مفاهيم جديدة ومتميزة تتيح لمؤسساتنا فرص النمو والرقي، وقد أخذ الإهتمام بالمشاريع الصغيرة يتزايد يوماً بعد يوم إدراكاً لأهمية دورها في الإقتصاد الوطني، ويأتي هذا الإهتمام بهذا القطاع بالنظر إلى إنتشارها في مختلف المدن والقرى وتنوع نشاطها بحيث أصبح يشمل مختلف القطاعات.
فالمشاريع الصغيرة هي النواة الحقيقية لأي تقدم إقتصادي وإجتماعي في معظم الدول وبالذات الدول النامية، حيث تتمتع تلك المؤسسات بسمات وخصوصيات مميزة مثل: المرونة، القدرة على التغيير السريع، القدرة على الإبتكار والتطوير، وأيضاً تعتبر العنصر الرئيسي في إستيعاب العمالة، فلا يوجد أي شيء يولد كبيراً فكل مشروع يبدأ صغيراً ثم ينجح وينمو، فإذا نظرنا إلى قصص نجاح الشركات الضخمة العالمية نجد أنها بدأت بفكرة فرد واحد ثم تطورت هذه الفكرة ونجحت ووصلت على مدار سنوات محددة كما هي عليه الآن، بالإضافة إلى أن معظم إقتصاديات الدول تعتمد على المشاريع الصغيرة حيث تشكل ما نسبته في أي دولة كحد أدنى 80%، كما أن للمشاريع الصغيرة أهمية كبيرة في مكافحة البطالة وزيادة دخل الأفراد وتحقيق النمو والتطور الإقتصادي في أي بلد، ومن هذا المنطلق كان لا بد من العمل على الحفاظ على حيوية هذا القطاع المهم.
من هنا تتجلى أهمية البحث من خلال تناوله العلاقة التفاعلية بين توفر الحاضنات كإحدى أهم مرتكزات البنية التحتية للريادة، وبين الفكر الريادي الذي يعد العامل الأساسي لنشوء ونمو إستمرار حاضنات الأعمال ودورها في دعم عملية ريادة المنظمات ومن ثم التنمية الإقتصادية والمستدامة من خلال إستعراض عوامل النجاح والمستلزمات المطلوبة.
