من خلال تأملنا لما ينتجه المشهد السردي الإماراتي نتوقف أمام الروائي الإماراتي عبيد إبراهيم بوملحة وروايته الجديدة "طقوس للموت" حيث نلمح تطورا ونضجا في التجربة الروائية لديه، وهو ما يدفعه باتجاه المغامرة والتجريب لدرجة أنه يكتب على المحك والمخاطرة بتجربة السرد بالكامل التي كان من الممكن لها أن تنهار تماما وتتحول إلى كتاب تثقيفي وانتقاد لأحوال المجتمع والوسط الثقافي العربي بشكل ساخر لولا أنه كان منتبها ومُدركا تماما لآليات السرد التي جعلته متماسك البنية، قادرا على أن يحوله إلى سرد روائي ممتع لا يمكن للقارئ تجاوزه، أو الانصراف عنه إلا بعد الانتهاء من عملية القراءة بالكامل ثم إعادة تأمل المشهد الثقافي من خلال ما صاغه بوملحة.
نحن أمام شكل روائي مُفكك تماما يحرص الروائي فيه على تفكيك الشكل الكلاسيكي أو المألوف من السرد الروائي ليعطينا شذرات سردية روائية، لا يلبث أن يلغيها لينسج غيرها باعتبار أن ما فات من سرد لا يليق أو لا يعجبه؛ فيجتهد في صياغة غيره. ربما تحتاج رواية "طقوس للموت" إلى قارئ متمرس على عملية القراءة، قادر على الصبر حتى نهاية العمل من دون تعجل في الحكم على العمل أو الانصراف عنه، وإن كنا نستطيع الجزم أن الروائي هنا لم يشب سرده أي شكل من أشكال الإملال بقدر ما كانت أحداثه ومعلوماته شيقة تدعونا للتمسك بالرواية حتى الصفحة الأخيرة منها، مُدللا في ذلك على قدرته في التحكم بخيوط السرد، محاولا التجريب في الشكل الروائي بشكل محكم ومقدما تجربة روائية ناضجة تشير إلى وجود كتابة جديدة في الإمارات من الممكن لها المنافسة مع الكثيرين ممن يسودون المشهد الروائي العربي.
