ناقشت هذه المجموعة عدداً من القضايا الاجتماعية الهامة التي شكلها النسيج الفكري والنفسي للفرد العربي، ولعل أبرز مثال على ذلك قصة" قرار امرأة" التي تحدثت عن حرم يعرب التي وضعت توأمين أحدهما ذكر والآخر أنثى وكيف قررت العائلة لسبب ما التضحية بالأنثى ليعيش الذكر، وذات الشيء فعلته القاصة عندما طرحت قضية المعايير المزدوجة التي يتسم بها المجتمع العربي من خلال قصة " لقد مال البرج" ، كما طرحت في قصة "صورة طبق الأصل" قضية تهميش المبدعين وفساد ذوق العامة مسقطة كل ذلك على مختلف مستويات الواقع وشرائحه، تاركة في نهاية كل قصة مساحة للقارئ كي يعمل عقله في نظرية الصواب والخطأ والوقوف مع ذاته وقفة جادة وسؤالها عما إذا كان هناك صواب أو خطأ أصلاً؟! في ظل انقلاب الموازين وتغير المفاهيم.
