في هذا الكتاب (القصص القصيرة الكاملة) للكاتب الكولومبي الشهير "غابرييل غارسيا ماركيز"، نقلها إلى العربية الأستاذ الكبير "صالح علماني".
يضم الكتاب أربع مجموعات قصصية كتبها ماركيز في فترات وظروف مختلفة، ومنها كل ما أبدعه في القصة القصيرة.
جاءت المجموعة الأولى بعنوان "عينا كلب أزرق" وتضم إحدى عشرة قصة قصيرة تبدأ بـ "الإذعان الثالث" سنة (1947)، وتنتهي بـ "مونولوج إيزابيل وهي ترى هطول المطر في ماكوندو" سنة (1955). أما المجموعة الثانية فجاءت بعنوان "جنازة الأم الكبيرة" وتضم ثماني قصص قصيرة تبدأ بـ "قيلولة الثلاثاء" سنة (1962)، وتنتهي بـ "جنازة الأم الكبيرة" سنة (1962) أيضاً. ثم المجموعة الثالثة وكانت بعنوان "القصة الحزينة التي لا تصدق لإرينديرا البريئة وجدتها القاسية" وتضم ثماني قصص قصيرة تبدأ بـ "سيد عجوز عجوز بأجنحة هائلة" سنة (1968) وتنتهي بـ"لإرينديرا الساذجة وجدتها القاسية" سنة (1972) . وتأتي المجموعة الرابعة والأخيرة بعنوان "اثنتا عشرة قصة قصيرة مهاجرة" كتبها ماركيز على امتداد ثمانية عشر عاما وتبدأ بـ"رحلة موفقة سيدي الرئيس" سنة (1979)، وتنتهي بـ "أثر دمك على الثلج" سنة (1976). وعن هذه المجموعة يقول ماركيز "... لقد كانت ولادة هذا الكتاب تجربة إبداعية غريبة تستحق الشرح، حتى ولوكان ذلك لجعل الأطفال الذين يريدون أن يصبحوا كتاباً حين يكبرون، يعرفون منذ الآن كم هو إدمان الكتابة شره وحكاك ..."
وبهذا يكون مجموع ما كتبه ماركيز في القصة القصيرة إثنتان وخمسون قصة.
