وحيث أن مواضيع التحليل الإحصائي بإستخدام SPSS كثيرة وطويلة، فقد ارتأى المؤلف تقسيم الكتاب إلى جزأين: قسم المؤلف الكتاب إلى جزأين حيث تناول الجزء الأول الامور الأساسية في التحليل الاحصائي، وهو موجه إلى طلبة البكالوريوس في الجامعات ومن في مستواهم العلمي وقسم الكتاب إلى تسعة فصول تناول الفصل الأول المفاهيم الأساسية في الاحصاء بينما تحدث الفصل الثاني عن التعامل مع SPSS وتحدث الفصل الثالث عن التعامل مع البيانات وفي الفصل الرابع ناقش المؤلف الاحصاءات الوصفية وفي الفصل الخامس مقارنة المتوسطات أما في الفصل السادس فقد ناقش المؤلف الرسوم البيانية من خلال Graphs وتحدث في الفصل السابع عن تحليل التباين وتناول في الفصل الثامن الارتباط والانحدار بينما جاء الفصل التاسع متحدثا عن ثبات أداة القياس.
