هذا إلى ما انطوى في ثناياه من علوم الأداء، الجارية في فقه اللغة العربية مجرى الأساس من البناء، فمن علم مخارج الحروف وصفاتها، إلى علم الوقوف وأحكامها، إلى بحوث في الإدغامين، والهمزات والياءين، والفتح والإمالة والرسم، وفن الابتداء والختم، إلى غير ذلك.
فهو سفر يحتاج إليه كل ناظر فيه: من قارئ وأديب ومؤرخ وفقيه.
ولما كان هذا الكتاب مجمع الطرق المتواترة عن رواة القراءات العشر، كان حقاً على المسلمين عموماً وجماعات حفاظ القرآن خصوصاً من أهل هذا العصر، أن يبادروا إلى حفظ هذه البقية الباقية، ويسعوا إلى اقتناء هذه الدرة الصافية.
