نقرأ في هذا الكتاب شرح رسالة التوحيد لـ "عبد الكريم بن إبراهيم الجيلاني، وهي من تأليف الشيخ علي الإحسائي وتحقيق الأستاذ صالح أحمد الذباب.
والتوحيد في هذه الرسالة مبني على فهم أهل التصوف، وكما جاء في تمهيد المؤلف " ... حمداً لله لصفاته، توحيده بذاته، فهو الواحد لا عن توحيد، والمحمود قبل الحمد والتحميد، أحمده حمد صفاته لذاته، وأوحده توحيد ذاته في صفاته" وعلى هذا تقر هذه الرسالة بصفات التوحيد لله تعالى، وتتوزع مادتها على "التوحيد: حقيقته ومراتبه" المرتبة الأولى: توحيد العبادة، الذي أتت بها الأنبياء والرسل، وتوحيد الذات قال تعالى"قل هو الله احد" ، والمرتبة الثانية: توحيد الذات بإفراد القدم عن الحدوث، ومنه بالصفات الذاتية. كما في قول أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام "ليس بإله من عرف بنفسه، هو الدال بالدليل عليه، والمؤدي بالمعرفة عليه" ، والمرتبة الثالثة: التوحيد الشهودي ، وهو أن نشهد بالحق في كل شيء و "تعلم أن لا إله إلا الله، هو أظهر من أن يوصف، وأخفى من أن يعرف ..."، والمرتبة الرابعة: هي التوحيد الحقيقي؛ وهو مقام الفناء بنفي الكثرة، وتحقق الوحدة ... قال علي عليه السلام "التوحيد إلا يتوهمه". وهذه المراتب كلها كما يقول المؤلف: مقامات الموحدين، ودرجات العارفين، فكل يسير إلى الله بلا نهاية في مقامات لا تتناهى من مقامات التوحيد، ولا يتجاوز حده ولا مبدؤه، والواحد تعالى متعال في جال عظمته عن درك الطالبين.
