ولمّا كانت الحال تلك، سعى هذا الكتاب بدوره إلى مواكبة بعض المستجدّات العلميّة الأكاديميّة في هذا الشأن، فكان أن جمع جملة من البحوث القيّمة التي مثّلت عصارة أعمل ندوة عربيّة رائدة في طرق موضوع العرفانيّات في مجال اللسانيّات والأدب والفكر الحضاريّ.
وقد كان هدفنا الرئيس إنارة دب الباحثين العرب في ميادين الأدب واللغة والحضارة العربيّة وذلك من خلال بسط جملة من المفاهيم والمصطلحات والمداخل والإجراءات التي تعين الدارس على إكتساب بعض معاول البحث وأدواته الضروريّة.
إنّ هذا الكتاب لبنة مهمّة تسهم في إغناء الرصيد المعرفيّ العربيّ بمراجع رائدة.
هذا الكتاب هو في الأصل مجموعة من أعمال علميّة محكّمة ألقيت في إطار الندوة الدوليّة الثانية لقسم العربيّة بالمعهد العالي للغات بجامعة قابس بالجمهوريّة التونسيّة يومي 8-9 أفريل 2016 وكان عنوانها: النصّ والخطاب في المباحث العرفانيّة.
