هذا هو الجزء الثاني من مشروع (المرأة واللغة) ولئن تركز الجزء الأول على علاقة المرأة باللغة كمنجز تعبيري بواسطة الحكي أو الكتابة، فإننا هنا نقف على الحكايات المأثورة التي تتعامل مع المؤنث وتجعل التأنيث مركز الحبكة، وفيها يبحث عما هو (ثقافة الوهم) وذلك حينما تبحر الثقافة إلى تصورات تنغرس في الذهن وتتحول إلى معتقد أو صورة نمطية ثابتة وهو ما يسمى بالجبروت الرمزي. وعبر جبروت الرمز تتأسس ثقافة الوهم وتضع أنساقها الخاصة لدى مستهلكي هذه الثقافة.
ولقد ظهر الكتاب على شكل مقالات نشرت أولاً في جريدة الحياة وظهرت المقالة الأولى بتاريخ 27/11/1995 وامتد ذلك على فترتين كان آخر ما نشر منها في 21/4/1997 ويضمها الآن كتاب هو امتداد للكتاب الأول.
