إذاً الصلاة هي حقاً عمود الدين وهي الطريق الأول للوصول إلى مغفرة الخالق، ولكن لهذا الركن أركان وآداب وشروط يجب الالتزام بها لتكون الصلاة مقبولة عند الخالق، لذا عني الشيخ "محسن قرائتي" بوضع هذا الكتاب الذي يضم بين طياته دراسة نظرية هامة هدفها تسليط الضوء على العديد من الحقائق الهامة التي تدور حول الصلاة وذلك عبر تقسيم مادة الكتاب إلى سبعة أقسام جاءت عناوينها كما يلي: القسم الأول: أهمية الصلاة، القسم الثاني: فلسفة وروح الصلاة، القسم الثالث: منحى الصلاة وأبعادها المعنوية، القسم الرابع: المسائل التربوية في الصلاة، القسم الخامس: الجوانب البشرية والاجتماعية للصلاة، القسم السادس: مواضيع القرآن، القسم السابع: آداب الصلاة.
